Our story

The chapter we were most looking forward to.

Over nearly two decades, we built Exceleris into a trusted boutique firm — more than 500 clients, from owner-run SMEs to multinational public companies. In 2024, we sold it. Lummaris is what came next, by choice — because the work we valued most never changed: sitting beside business owners, helping them get the decisions that matter right.

Between us, that career runs across public and private companies, large and small — advising, financing, and bringing the right parties together on more transactions than we could count. Lummaris is where that experience goes now.

The name comes from lumma, a root for light, and -aris, after Polaris — the North Star. For centuries, Polaris was how navigators found their way. We chose it because that is what a good advisor should be: a steady, guiding light when the decisions are hard.
How we work

Hands-on, senior, and close to the work.

You work with the principals. The people you meet are the people who do the work — no hand-offs, no junior teams standing in.

We are careful with what matters to you. Decades as CPAs leave you with a healthy respect for risk, for confidentiality, and for telling a client the truth — including when the truth is that a deal should not be done.
